Post-Matric Scholarship to Minority students ( 100%  CSS):-  
 

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunuties for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the Stete Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level.

Pre-Matric Scholarship to Minority students ( 100%  CSS):-  
 

The scholarship at Pre-Matric level will encourage parents from minority communities to send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to supports their children to complete school education. The scheme will form the foundation to their educational attainment and provide a level playing filed in the competitive employment arena. Empowerment through education, which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to upliftment of the socio economic conditions of the minority communities.

The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X, including such residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government and Union Territory Administration concerned.

Merit cum Means based Scholarship to Minority students ( 100%  CSS):-

 
 

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial aisstance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and will be awarded through State Government/UT Administration or an Agency designated by the State Govenment/UT Administratiion for this purpose.

Post-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Castes students:-  
 

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary state to enable them to complete their education.

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and are awared by the government of the State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs i.e. permanently settled.

Pre-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Castes students:-  
 

The objective of the scheme is to support parents of SC childrenm for education of their wards studying in classes IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized and to improve participation of SC children in classes IX and X of the pre-matric stage, so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education.

Scholarship under the Scheme will be available for studies in India only and will be awarded by the Government of the State/Union Territory to which the applicant belongs i.e. where he is domiciled.

Post-Matric Scholarship to Economically Backward Ckass (EBC) students:-  
 

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarship shall be available for studies in India pursuing in the Government Institutions only and will be awarded by the Government of State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. permanently settled.

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary state to enable them to complete their education.

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and are awared by the government of the State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs i.e. permanently settled.

Pre-Matric Scholarship to OBC students:-  
 

OBCs living below double the poverty line form a bigger chunk of a population and there are disparities amongst OBCs themselves to start with, it is proposed to award scholarship to the school going children of poorer OBC parents whose annual income is below double the poverty line.
